A corporate lawyer in Drew & Napier LLC. Boon Ann is principally engaged in corporate finance, banking, joint ventures, investments and acquisitions.

Boon Ann was called to the Bar in 1987 and shortly after, joined the National University of Singapore (NUS) as a member of the teaching staff. Boon Ann pursued his Masters degree in London on a university scholarship. He taught at the NUS for approximately 5 years before leaving in 1992 to join Drew & Napier. In 1994, he was made a partner of Drew & Napier and in the same year, set up the firm’s branch in Hanoi. Boon Ann returned in 1995 and has since been engaged in the corporate practice of the firm. He became a director upon the corporatisation of Drew & Napier in 2001.
