Karine is currently the Executive Director of the Singapore College of Insurance, a non-profit making certification, training and educational body for the Singapore insurance industry. Prior to joining the College, she was working in the Insurance Supervision Department of the Monetary Authority of Singapore. She holds a B. Soc. Sci (Hons) Economics degree and an APEX-MBA degree both obtained from the National University of Singapore. She also holds a Masters degree in Education (Human Resource Development) from the George Washington University, USA. Karine is the co-chair of the National Technical Committee for Personal Financial Planning. She is also a member of the National Services Standards Committee.
